Mitchell Drill Designs creates entertaining halftime and competitive shows for marching bands and other performing arts classifications. With more than 30 years experience, we are proud to share that our productions have won many awards over the years. In fact, two competitive shows written in 2025 ended up in the top 5 at Pennsylvania State Championships (USBands and Tournament of Bands) and one was promoted to Open Class! Congratulations to both for their achievement!

Mitchell Drill Designs are achievable and easy to watch. Each production is created just for you band and considers the number of musicians, age and skill level, and complexity (classification). We will work together to identify props, soloists, and features you would like to see so they may be integrated into each selection. Mitchell Drill Designs varies transitions and staging to place the right performers in the right places at the right times! |

Before band camp, the Director will receive video animations of the drill and and printable PDF drill sheets for every song to share with the instructional staff. In this way, everyone may become familiar with planned pathways, features, musical references, etc. There should be no surprises and no confusion at band camp! And best of all, less stress for you and no more wasted time trying to figure things out or make them work.
